Weiß Schwarz

I was a trading card gamer back in the days and after a few years of playing none of the existing games which can be bought in Germany I stumbled upon this Card Game from Bushi Road.

Weiß Schwarz is german and does mean White Black in english. If you are unfamiliar with german you can visit this site to hear how Weiß and Schwarz is pronounced. Just click on the speaker icon.

In Weiß Schwarz there are many different Anime and Game series made into cards and the game has two sides. A Weiß and a Schwarz one. The Weiß one contains sexy and cute characters while the black side has cool and strong characters. So Weiß is Moe and Schwarz is Serious Business.

You can see to what side your characters belong but looking at the bottom of the card.

They either got white or black wings.

I decided to get myself a Fairy Tail Trial Deck after I learned about the rules. And even if it is in japanese, the Community works hard to translate the card effects and the rules.

There even exists one english Trial Deck so far but only from the Disgaea series.

I also bought some card sleeves since I don’t have any more sleeves with the right size. The One Piece Card Game (my last Trading Card Game) was a small card size game.

My Lucy Heartfilia Card Sleeves came with a Plu Promo Card. That is a nice extra.

Each Trial Deck contains a pre-build deck of 50 cards, a playmat, a rulebook and a Quickrule sheet.

And this is what the Fairy Tail Trial Deck looks like. Unfortunately there is only one Erza card. Yes, I mean 1 card. Not 1 Version and then four times. No, only one card. I am disappointed. Erza is my favorite from the series.
