School Diary Party 4 and 5

September 24th, 2008 23:41 in Learning japanese

I am really sorry for not writing a School Diary last week. But the 4th classes was reeeeaaally boring and I decided to write part 4 and 5 in one entry.

First some words about classes from last week. Like I already said nothing happened. We read a whole lot. And I mean a whole lot. We just read. We do not do some excercises in our notebooks or stuff like this. No we just read. The whole 1 1/2 hours.

But the most surprising is, that the young ones like to talk while the other students read and so they don’t pay attention for when their turn to read is. Ok I do talk with Buku too. But we know when we have to read and what we have to read. I am attending classes on my own free will! I am there to learn something and not to waste the money of my parents like the teenagers there.

When they read it is just awkward. They stutter more than there are words in their example sentences. They can’t even read “doitsu”. A word we read a thousand times this evening. Just excellent. And after our techer said them what that word means the give up on the rest of the sentence. I really do hope they had to pay the class from their pocket money. Poor parents.

But now for the classes yesterday. We have 17 students in our class. But yesterday there were only 4 including me. Private tutoring. Awesome. Ah not really. Our teacher sucks.

We just read the whole time again but it was a lot funnier than usual. Together with Buku and me, only the eldery couple was there. It was really relaxing. And if only 4 people are present you can guess how often it was my turn to read.

And since we finished lession 1 last week we started with lesson 2. Phonenumbers. Awesome. Finally some numbers.

introduction was a dialogue between two people and one had to read numbers. We didn’t learn them so far but I had to read them. The numbers weren’t printed in Kana and I own the teacher and the eldery couple after I finished reading my part of the dialogue. Including the numbers in japanese.

On the other hand, I am glad that only 3 other people heared me reading them and my geek level raised only for some people.

But after that, everytime there were numbers I had to read them. Every single time. Oh numbers? Let Ryudo read them! Aren’t the others there to learn them too?

We nearly finished lesson 2 in 1 1/2 hourse. We are awesome! With all students present I bet we only could finish the dialogue.

But now we are on a two week break. I know I will learn some vocab and stuff. Wonder if the rest learns on their own too.

Haha (^^’), wir sind schon mit Lektion 3 durch. Wir haben wohl das gleiche Doitsu Center Lehrbuch.

Auf Nachfrage hieß es das wir nur Kurs A.1 und A.2 machen. Also Anfängerkurs Teil eins in diesem Jahr.
