School Diary Part 3
September 11th, 2008 00:21 in Learning japanese
ただいま〜
That means “I am back home”. Week 3 is over. Time passes by so fast.
We finished every last hiragana symbol and from now on everybody is responsible to learn them on their own and not forgetting them. And it is really important to get fluent in reading them since we started reading and translating the exercises in the textbook.
The stuff we read so far only wants us to understand the main structure of a japanese sentence. Subject wa Object desu.
Until now we are missing references to Kanji. Ok, we have to learn hiragana first and can start learning Kanji after we got fluent in hiragana. But they weren’t mentioned a single time in the textbook so far and I haven’t found any lesson for which we must learn Kanji.
Teacher did a little mistake again. She made an mistake regarding double consonants but Buku was a chicken and didn’t say anything. And I already am the geek thanks to the teacher. i don’t want to make it worse.
That’s it fro this week.

Du hast nicht wirklich geglaubt, dass die Kanji jetzt schon erklärt würden, oder? Wir haben ja nicht mal Katakana gehabt, da ist an Kanji noch überhaupt nicht zu denken. Und daran wird sich anscheinend auch so schnell nichts ändern.

Geglaubt hab ich es nicht, aber gehofft.
Gehofft, dass zumindest gesagt wird, dass die meisten Substantive nicht in Hiragana, sondern Kanji geschrieben werden.
