Today I got another addition to my SCANDAL collection. After getting their 2nd Live DVD and the Mini Cover Album R-GIRL’s ROCK! the newest Single Release, Haruka, arrived in my mailbox.
Normally I am not that much into buying Single releases but the first press bonus from cdjapan was so tempting that I had to buy it.

Since my old cellphone, a Sony Ericsson w200i, started to bitch and tells me to insert a SIM card even tough I didn’t do anything to it, I finally decided to buy a new phone. Since it was announced sometime in September last year I think, I fell in love with the Desire Z from HTC.

After learning about the new features of CSS and with the desire to get rid of the sidebar I finally got the motivation to upgrade my blog design to version 3.1.

I finished this in about 2 days with Photoshop and coding and am pretty happy about the outcome.

Japan Earthquake

March 18th, 2011 15:27 in Japan 0 Comments By Ryudo

We all saw what happened in Japan since the 11th of March.

Those are horrifying pictures we see everday in the news and in the papers or we hear from the radio.

The country we admire so much is in a huge catastrophe and the tsunami destroyed everything on its way.

The New York Times took some satelite pictures from before and after the tsunami and put a slider on it. Everyone can compare the pictures by moving the slider and see the amount of destruction left behind.

Thousands of people are now homeless and we all need to help. Sandra Bullock just donated 1 Mio $ of her own fortune to the victims in Japan.

A lot of rescue teams are trying to save as many lives as possible and to help those who now live in gyms.

If you do have a bit of money you can afford to donate please do so.  Your local Red Cross Society is a wise decision and if they don’t send the money to Japan then you can directly donate to the Japanese Red Cross.

A few weeks ago Hobby Link Japan did a sale for a variety of figures they still had in stock. Guess it was spring cleaning. And I used the opportunity to get my hands on the 1/8 scale Nakano Azusa pre-painted figure by Alter.
It is still possible to get her at hlj.com. But be fast she is on low stock.

As the cover says it contains 1800 sentence for each kind of everday situation and a free CD with mp3 files to listen to the phrases. What kind of phrases the buyer gets I will tell later on.
