Nikon D5000
I spoiled myself and bought a Nikon D5000 digital SLR Camera at a local photo shop. I always tought that I want to do a bit more photography since I bought my ol’ Panasonic Lumix FX01 compact cam two and a half years ago.
I first saw the Nikon D5000 at Hector Garcias Blog and fell in love with it. I totally liked the idea of the free moveable screen and thought that you can easily take pictures from funny angles.
And I just saw that dannychoo got a D5000 as well and waited for his review. He is not a professional photographer and that is why I put so much trust in his review. I don’t want to hear a review of a Pro if I am not a Pro myself and don’t want to be one.
I bought the Kit which come with the cam itself and a 18-105mm lens.
Could have bought the cheaper Kit which comes with the 18-55mm lens but I wanted one good lens which I can attach to the camera and not to buy a load of lenses afterwards and take the with me all the time and change them.
The moveable screen is just awesome. You can easily take pictures from the perspective of a frog or from a high angle.
This isn’t going to be a review of the cam and maybe I won’t be doing one because I think danny’s review is really good.
I also bought the Suzumiya Haruhi no gensou CD. It is a CD performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
They played Songs from the anime like Koi no Mikuru Densetsu, Bouken deshou deshou?, Lost my music, Saikyou Pare Parade, Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite and God Knows. Some of them are also with vocals from Chihara Minori and Hirano Aya.
Definitely worth the money. You can get it here at cdjapan.
