JLPT acceptance

November 12th, 2009 00:32 in Learning japanese

A few days ago I got a mail from the school in Düsseldorf who runs the JLPT with my Receipt Card, an invitation and a few infos about how everything is going to take place.

The whole concert will take place on the 6th of december and will start at 12 a.m.

15 minutes later the welcome ceremony and the meeting will start which will propably explain where the test rooms for each level are.

The tests itself begin at 1:20 p.m.  with getting the documents for the first of the three test phases.

10 minutes later the vocabulary test is going to keep me happy for about 25 minutes. Thats all the time we get.

It is going to be really exhausting so we already get a 25 minutes break after the first round.

And than the whole procedure repeats itself at 2:20 p:m. we get our documents for the second phase. The listening test. 10 minutes later we have again 25 minutes to complete the questions.

After that we earned ourselves again a 25 minutes break…

So after we hopefully recharged all of our brain power we again get 10 minutes to get our documents from 3:20 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

The most important and biggest part of the test will start. The reading and grammar test. This time we get 50 minutes of time to fail on ourselves or to win it all.

I only need to pass 60% to get my certificate and I hope that I will get this magical mark.

I think it is going to be really hard because I learn japanese at my own and not at university or at a language school.

I am a wee bit worried though but I use a lot of my freetime to learn. Dunno if I have the perfect learning method and I still have a lot to learn and it is only 3 and a half more weeks until the test.

Maybe I will visit a language school next year again.

If you want to know more about the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, take a look at wikipedia.
