Ginza

Yesterday I continued exploring Tokyo. If you want to know what I did just click “more”.

Ok, after waking up early and getting some hotel brekkies I left and took the train to one of the most gallant shopping miles in Tokyo. Destination Ginza. In Ginza are department stores with decades or even centuries of history. And there are some smaller stores offering traditional craftsmanship goodies. Thus they sure are expensive. But I bought three brushes for my grandpa.
There isn’t that much to visit but department stores and stuff. Ginza is a shopping mile.
But the clock here was really cool. You haven’t seen such a clock in Germany.

Oh I nearly forgot there was something special at the Ginza and that is the Sony Building. I think the name speaks for itself but it is a big Sony Showcase. On 6 floors the show their latest products ands technology. And one is allowed to test almost everything. And if you want to buy there are price tags to inform what pain your wallet will go through if you spontaneously decide to buy a Blu-Ray Player or a 5.1 Sound System.
The next goal was on the far east side of Tokyo. Near the Disney Resort Tokyo at the Tokyo Bay there is the Tokyo Sealife Park. Lots of Tokyo here. o_O

It is a big aquarium with lots of fishes and penguins. A lot of species I haven’t seen in a german aquarium.
The journey was a bit complicated. I choose the correct train but I missed the right station. I haven’t heard the annoucnement correctly and so I missed it. Well, taking the same train back I heard the beautiful voice saying my stations name and I finally arrived there.

There isn’t that much to talk today because the aquarium was huge and stole a lot of time.
