Garage Kits

No I didn’t bought a picture of a figure but a figure itself. To be more precise a Garage Kit. Hatsune Miku of the Vocaloid Software.
If you don’t know, garage kits are meant to be build and painted by oneself. They are supposed to be build lovely from each builder and no figure looks like the one another build.
This figure is not my first step in the world of modelmaking. 5 to 8 years ago, I don’t know anymore, I once build models. They were cars, aircrafts and ships. Made of plastic and not resin from the company Revell.
But now I thought I could give it a try since I was looking for a new hobby besides playing video games all day long. There are a lot of Resin Kits of figures which you can’t buy as PVC figure and so I thought “let’s give it a try”. Luckily I still own a lof of model supplies from my old days and just have to buy small stuff like new glue, some colors and stuff like this.
Maybe I will do a WIP (= work in progress) diary and show my work while done.
I already started doing the first steps. I removed some pieces which remained of the casting of the figure parts and I sanded the figure.
So I hope you will follow me on this project.
