A few seconds ago I installed ryusworld V3 on wordpress.

The Design didn’t work out as I would liked because I was too stupid to code a Drop Down Menu for Categories, Archives and Links based on CSS only. I had a fixed design in mind and I didn’t want to use any other design.

Until I know how to code it there has to be a sidebar.

ryusworld V3.1 will be without a sidebar.

If you find any coding errors write it in the comments below. I do know that the site doesn’t look perfect on IE I don’t know why but this site was build for Firefox. So go get it :D

After years of sitting on my old office chair I finally bought myself a new one because sitting on my old one started to be a pain.

Some construction works will taking place every now and then since I designed a new layout and I want to test everything in my index.php and style.css file

This weekend was the animagic 2009. The anime and manga convention I mentioned in one of my last entries.

And like I said I was there to visit on saturday. The weather was awesome. Sunny all day long and about 25°C at a minimum. If I can believe the internets way over 4000 people were there to visit the convention. Even some people walked by and wanted to get in, but it was sold out.

There were a lot of good cosplayers and I missed the chance to take pictures because I wanted to take them while the most will be on stage for the cosplay competition. But more about that later.

Got my Ticket for the annual animagic convention today. The animagic is one of the 3 big anime conventions in Germany.  Infos about the animagic here (unfortunately you have to know german).

Always wanted to go there but never had the time to visit and it was complicated to get a ticket.

Bought a 2-day-combo ticket for friday and saturday but can only attend on saturday because of night shift but will still be awesome I think. Also a good opportunity to test my new camera ;)

I am going to translate a few blog entries into english in the near future so that non-german people can read my older entries which I think are interesting too.

Already deleted some of the older articles which I think will not be of much interest for you.

I thought to myself, about two weeks ago, I have to renovate my room a little bit.Got tid of my 15-years old carpet and my desk which was way too small for my Notebook and working with my japanese books at the same time.

Got inspired by Danny Choo. I really fell in love with the desks he is using for his office and so I bought one myself.

Yesterday night, around 1:00 am, I finished my wordpress theme. It was hard work because some things didn’t work out as well as I wanted and the server died on me a few times.
As you can see from my last entry I choosed a different design. Because it was a little easier to code.
I am a newbie in this kind of things. But one day I want to make the blue design into a wordpress theme as well.
Hope you like the look. If not, leave a comment with tipps what I should change.
I still have to finish some pages like the “About me” page.

Some knew it, some not. There was a reason why I didn’t updated this blog mor eoften.

Well, it was because I finally fulfill a dream of my youth.

Wednesday I will drive to the Airport of Frankfurt and I will board an aircraft flying non-stop to Tokyo-Narita.

From 25.03. to 5.04. I will visit the land of the rising sun and see everything live what I watched in videos and saw on photographics.

Because all my moolah died for my vacation in Japan there wasn’t any “Buying with Ryudo” articles. And because the language school was a piece of poo I stopped before it officially ended and I had nothing to write about that either.

The hotel I will stay in as free Wi-Fi for the guests and I will bring my computer with me to save my videos and pictures on HDD and to write a vacation journey. At the end of each day I will write a sum up of what I visited and so on for you and of course for myself. Of course you won’t miss pictures in those articles.

I planed a lot even if I stay in Tokyo only. But there is so much to visit and I want to relax there.

After I come back at the 5th of april I am officially a globetrotter.
